I walked over to the Dime and Dollar and they were having half off all their Christmas stuff for today only. I found some cute stuff but even with half off, it was out of my price range. Here is what I did get though.
Four cotton spun snowmen These are really cute. I'm debating whether or not to put them in my Ebay store. Right now I have them posted on my Facebook garage sale page. The big ones are 12" and the little ones are 9" and 10".
Fireman Santa Figure This is pending sale on my Facebook Group. There is a member that collects firemen stuff and he has bought from me in the pass.
and some Blue's Clues figures (not half off but only a dime a piece)

California Roller Girl
My husband won this at an auction yesterday. It is a California Roller Girl doll made by Mattel in the 90's. It is in a store display case. We tried to get it to work yesterday but I think it needs new batteries. Hopefully, it will work in the display box and also out of it. I think it's pretty cool but judging by complete listings on Ebay, they don't sell too well. I thought maybe being in a display case would increase the value but one sold for only $17.99

Facebook Finds
I found some good items on my Facebook group to flip on Ebay.
I have not listed this lamp yet. In September this lamp was selling between $75 and $99 Now it seems everyone has theirs priced less than $40 I think I may wait until the beginning on December and list it high with best offer.
Just sold this today for $24.99
This morning I sold this owl ornament for $17.99
Some mini owls
UGG Boots I got an offer of $45 the first day I listed but declined. I am hoping to get closer to my asking price. I originally bought them for myself but the are slightly tight. I can wear them but they are not comfortable.
Some Ty Pluffies. I'm not sure how well these will do but I got them pretty cheap.

What $5 Got
I went to the thrift store yesterday to look at their "I Wonder Why" books but they wanted $1 each so I passed. They don't seem to sell for much on Ebay. Instead I got all this for less than $5
Aren't the Dr Seuss Converse shoes cool? They are actually Ryker's size and if they don't sell this month, I may keep them for him. The Wakey Wakey book I'm keeping as well.

$20 Thrift Store Finds
I found all this at two different thrift stores for less than $20
I already sold the Dora books on Facebook for $8
Tomorrow, I am selling the Dr Seuss books for $15, The Toy Story Books for $6, and the Dora, Toy Story and Princess sound books for $9 All from Facebook.
I have listed the Avon Christmas tree, the Skelanimal Cat, the Sandra Boynton mug, and the Manhattan Toy Co Feltopia on Ebay.
I can not find any pencil prints like these on Ebay. They say on the bottom Copyright 1953 Eberhard Faber Pencil Co. I had no clue what to price them at and thought about doing an auction but since I got free fixed listings for 3 days (special email invite) I listed them in a variation listing at $19.99 It would be so sweet it someone bought them all. Maybe I underpriced them and someone will.
The static electricity light I gave to Robbie.

Goodwill Finds
I found some good buys yesterday at Goodwill.
Dora Talking Doll House. I'm hoping to sell this on Facebook. If it doesn't sell in a week, I may list it on Ebay. One model has been recalled and I do not have that model but since Ebay pulled my Baby Einstien Musical Turtle crib toy, even though mine wasn't the recalled model, I am hesitant to list it.
Some rescue heroes. I already have a buyer on Facebook for these. I just need to wait for her to come to my city. This will pay for everything I got.
I found some TMNT for $1.49 I'm not sure how well they will do but I saw some on Facebook that 2 people were interested in but that seller was only ask $3 and I kind of want to make more than that.
I haven't got these toys out of the packaging yet. I need to do that and get them listed. The front side has this Ranch toy and the back has a veterinary hut. There are 2 vehicles on top and a bunch of animals. Not sure if you can see it, but I love the owl in the tree of the vet hut.

Thrift Store Finds
There is a thrift store 4 houses down from me. Since we moved, I've only been in there twice. Their prices are ok but nothing is consistent. They have a rule: no price tag, no sale. There was a Mickey Mouse Christmas ornament I kind of wanted and of course there was no price tag. Since it was the lunch hour, there was only one person working and I heard her tell another customer that she did not do pricing. Not sure if he got the cd he wanted to buy or not cause I moved to the back of the store when he started being rude.
The first time I was there, I got these two Princess Lamps for $2.49 each. I sold them on Facebook that same day for $8 each. I would have listed them on Ebay but both had some sort of small damage. (one was missing the trim and the other the shade had crack lines in)
Today, I walked over there and got some children's books. They had so many and the prices ranged from .39 cents to .99 cents. That is the cheapest I have ever seen books at any thrift store. Had I known they were having a 30% off books, dvds and cds, I would have bought more. I found a Pound Purrries puppet. I tried seeing what the puppets were going for, but could not find any listed on Ebay.
I also found a sealed package of Polaroid film. I'm not sure if it will sell because it expired in 1979. The Spongebob is for Ryker.
I spent a total of $7.23 which I paid for in quarters.

I was so excited...
to find a Shark stick vac at Goodwill for $6.99. That was until I got it home.
I love the fact that it is cordless. It picks up things quicker than sweeping and is very light weight. The only problem? The battery does not last long. Notice I have left the GW price sticker on. I'm still on the fence about returning it. At first, I thought because it was used, the battery was not fully charging. Then I read some reviews on Amazon. "Low Battery Life" "Don't Waste Your Money" "Don't Buy" A lot of people were having the same issue. It's a great little vacuum for tidying up but for longer jobs, I think I will stick with my Dirt Devil.

October Sales
October was pretty slow in Ebay land. I had a total of 51 sales. Since I was moving, I was grateful for this little break but now I need things to pick up.
Some of my highs:
Alf doll for $59.95 plus shipping This went to Canada
Breyer Phantasma Horse $64.99 with free shipping
Enesco Owl Creamer set $55 free shipping
Barbie Polaroid Camera $31.99 plus shipping
and my lows:
Engine, Engine Number 9 book $4.99 with free shipping
Little Einsteins Plush Rocket $9.95 with free shipping
VTG Pencil erasers $9.99 with free shipping
Peek a Blocks Wagon Replacement Divider $9.99 with free shipping (This alone paid for the wagon I am trying to sell on Facebook)
Since we moved into a bigger house, I have my own room for my Ebay hoard. I really need to organize it better because a lot of the time, I end up searching two bins to find something that sold. Also there are no outlets so my computer and printer are down stairs.
Missed out on these great items? Please visit my store on Ebay for other amazing things.
