Friday, I walked to two garage sales. One was advertised on Facebook as having a bunch of good stuff and I was surprised to find some left when I got there. It was after 10 and they had opened on Thursday. I found a Batmobile, an Iron Man figure, Superman and night binoculars. The books and owl planter were at different garage sales.
In the afternoon, my sister took me to Goodwill. She spotted some Lisa Frank 3 ring binders. Some of her binders can sell for $30 and up.
I also found a Barbie from 1980 in her case.
I don't know if you can see the Disney mug but it has Alladin on it. I found two other ones, Beauty and the Beast and the Lion King. When the cashier was putting them into the bag, she dropped one on the other. I did not see any damage so I paid for them and left. I checked the mugs in the sunlight, and sure enough she had broke them. There was a hairline crack in one and a chip out of the bottom of the other. The store light is so horrible, I didn't see the crack and the cashier was holding the one with the chip. I went back in, got my store credit and bought the sewing bag you see in the picture.
that is crazy about the binders! i have one from the early 90's that i keep my holga film in. i wonder if i should list it...
