Decorating For Dummies

I am not a plant person so I've been looking for items to decorate the shelf I found last week. So far, I have only been able to find three things.

The candle holder came with two bars and a chain so I'm assuming one can hang it from the ceiling. Obviously, I have chosen not to do that but I can't seem to throw the hardware away.

I thought the blue vase was Viking but I was wrong. It's L.E. Smith

I had found a similar globe thing a year ago at the GW boutique. The price tag was 29.99 so I left it there. I was excited to find this one for 7.99

Do You Have The Time

One of my favorite things to buy at the thrift is clocks. Granted, they are not good resellers (at least in my experience) but I can't turn a working clock down. Especially if it has my other favorite item: owls.

Look at that dwerpy owl. At 1.99, it definitely went home with me.

I found this math problems one at the same thrift. Someone was supposed to buy it from FBMP but of course that fell through.

I bought this skeleton clock awhile ago but haven't posted it for sale.

This lights up and makes a waterfall noise. For now, I'm not selling it.

I thought for sure this vintage flower clock would get scooped up quickly. Perhaps because it's local pick up.

And last but not least, this awesome neon light guitar clock. Someone is supposed to be buying it tomorrow.

When Goodwill Sells You Lemons

Not going to lie, I kind of wanted to buy this jar with the five lemons. I'm not sure if they were real or fake. I'm thinking fake because why wouldn't GW throw them away if they were real?

I'm not sure what I would have used it for and in the end, I left it there. Would you have bought it? What would you have done with it? I believe it was $12.99

Unicorn

I've been pretty blessed this year with finding things I have been looking for. Today, wasn't any different. I was scrolling through Facebook Marketplace and spotted my unicorn.

I messaged the seller and it was still available. It was in another city and my husband drove me there. We arrived at an abandoned house and the seller was waiting outside. I followed him into the house and there it stood my unicorn. I was more than happy to hand over two twenties. He had already bubbled wrapped the glass and put them in cardboard.  I had no idea how big these were but luckily it fit in the spot I had for it.
