Last Day

Today was the last day of the 50% off sale at the thrift store. They had a big bin of stuffed animals and then about five 30 gallon rubbermaid containers. I dug through most of them.

The spiderman pillow and the platypus are for Ryker. I have the 402 of the Pyrex but when I was in the store, I had a hard time remembering what size I had so I grabbed all 3 bowls. They had the spring blossom and a brown set (I think) but I didn't get either. I kind of wish I did though.

I think the wolves in these 2 playsets need to be switched around. I thought they were cute.

I'm listing most of this stuff on ebay, so check out my store. I'm also running a sale this weekend.

50% Off Sale Finds

The thrift store by my house had 50% off today. I actually found more here than I did at the treasure sale last weekend.

I found a bunch of cute plush. I thought the small koala bear went with a hugging one I already had that was missing her baby. They are different colors but I put them together anyways. I have no idea if the little rainbow plush is a frog or a duck. I listed it as both. The Simba is the Kissing one but I didnt find Nala.

The Bierderlack blankets usually sell well on Ebay. This one was a NY Yankees. I really liked the green KangaROOS but they are not my size. It was kind of weird getting them because I had picked up the one shoe and shortly after, an older lady grabbed the other. She said they looked too small to be a 9. Then she asked the manager how much the shoes were. I wasn't sure if she was going to give me the shoe or not. She eventually did.

Some vintage Trapper Keepers can go for good money. This plain one doesn't sell for much. I found the microphone to the Fisher Price Super Star stage in one of the bargain bags. It is always a good idea to check those bags. The butter dish is for me.

I don't normally buy breakables or decorative items but these vases were too nice to pass up. The brownish striped one was made in Italy and one recently sold for $75. The black ones are metal and made in India. I am keeping the cat dish.

If you are interested in any of these items, check out my store on Ebay.

Treasure Sale Finds

St Matthews Church had their annual treasure sale this past weekend. I only went on Saturday. Since I had Robbie with, I didn't get much. It was hard to dig when he kept wandering off.

The videos are for Ryker and since I did not notice Pink Panther was damaged, my sister is going to buy him. She found the Jellycat alligator.

I debated about keeping the deer. However, I listed them on ebay.

The John Lennon elephant was dirty so I didn't list him yet. Same with the Gund yellow musical bear. But I did list the other two musical toys.

I found two Harry Potter items. They had a Golden Snitch lamp but one of the wings was broken and I want to say it was missing the bulb. It's a shame because they seem to sell high on ebay.

Most of their older "antique" items were priced high. I did get these two squeak toys though. Some of these toys can sell for a lot on Ebay. The bear one does not squeak but the mouse does.

I sold one of these shape sorters awhile back. The handle on this one is broken but I would think one could superglue it back together.

and Baby's First Bear

I wish I would have gone back on Sunday as they had boxes of plush under the sell tables. They were huge boxes and I didn't know if they would allow me to dig through them. I think I will ask next year.

Tick Tock

Apparently, I collect clocks. There are currently 15 in my house not including the one on the stove or microwave. Here is the breakdown:

Bathroom: 1
Kitchen: 1
Living room: 5
Bedroom: 2
Son's room: 3
EBay room: 2
Other son's room: 1

Yesterday, I picked up this clock. The battery compartment was corroded so I got a good deal. I cleaned it with rubbing alcohol and it is currently working.

I got this one a few weeks ago. It's in my bathroom. My bathroom does not have a nautical theme so I'm not sure why I was drawn to this.

I love the saying on this clock. Plus you can put pictures in it. This one is in my kitchen.

The next 3 are in my living room. I got this one at a garage sale several years ago. It looses time but it it my favorite.

This is my backwards clock. When I bought it, the clerk asked me if I could read it. I said yes and told her the time.

Cute owl clock I got at Monkey Mo's.

And last but not least, who lives in a pineapple under the sea? This one is in my youngest son's room.

Would You Have Bought It

I was drawn to this dresser at the thrift store. Maybe because of the way it looked or the fact that it took almost half of their floor space.

I called my husband and asked what he thought. He said to get it if I had a spot for it. I had 3 in mind and was hoping one would work. It was priced at $25 but they had their furniture marked at 50% off. For $12.50, I would find somewhere to put it.

I had to rearrange my furniture, but I found a home for it. For now, I put my movies on one side. The drawers and other side are empty.

Live Laugh Love

I still haven't found much for resale, just a few blankets but I did find this. I'm not much for the Live Laugh Love art but this one is different. I like how they used objects to form the letters.

The kitten paw is cute.

Cute Bird Pyrex

I haven't had a sale on eBay since Friday. It's beginning to upset me. I swear selling there has made me bi polar. Anyways, I saw this cute container at the church treasure sale 2 weeks ago. I was going to go back and get it but I never did. Imagine my surprise to see it donated to the thrift store. I know it's the same one because the lid had a small crack (which was why I was debating getting it in the first place) Luckily, my favorite cashier was there and she let me get it at the church sale price.
