One can never have enough shoes right? Are you in need of a new pair of shoes but do not want to pay retail prices? Would you rather sit at home and order shoes online instead of going to the mall? Then check out Jessica's ebay store stores.ebay.com/Ellies-Shoes-and-More Here you will find a great selection of preowned shoes at great prices. These are a few of my favorites:

and remember "the girl who dies with the most shoes wins."

My Dirty Little Secret

Yes. I had an affair. I will admit it. It was a stupid, expensive, implusive thing to do but boy was it fun. Yes. I had an affair. A love affair. With a Coach purse.

I first fell in love with Coach after working at a child care in my hometown. All the young girls had Coach and it seemed like the it bag to have. I knew I had to have one. Everywhere I looked, I saw those little c's tempting me. You will be mine Coach purse. So I bought one. A black and gray canvas Soho Flap Purse. It was(is)beautiful and smelled so good. Who could resist those small signature c's and those shiny silver buckles?

But as with all love affairs, this one came to an end. I needed a bigger purse that would double as a diaper bag. My sweetheart simply wasn't cutting it. So now I am just hoping some other woman will begin their own love affair with my purse. See it here on Ebay

Baby Girls and Groovy Dolls

I have always wanted a little girl. Someone who would look cute in pink, wear dresses, have pony tails, a little mini-me. But it was not meant to be. I was blessed with 4 wonderful boys, minis of their dads.

Ryker was my last chance of having a girl. I remember praying to myself let it be a girl. The day of my ultrasound the doctor asked us if we had any other children. We said yes we have 3 boys. He replied "No you don't. You have 4 boys." I almost felt like crying right there on the exam table. Sure I was having a healthy baby but a big part of me wanted that baby to be a girl. Ryker was born on December 12, 2009 weighing in at 10 pounds 6 ounces. He was by far the biggest baby I had. he would also be my last. No more chance of pink. No more chance of dresses. No more ponytails. No more girl. no mini-me.

Having boys, doesn't discourage me from looking at all the cute girlish items in the thrift stores. Whatever I find will go into my Ebay store. A few weeks ago while thrifting, I came across a lot of Groovy Girl Dolls. I had read somewhere that these were good sellers so I snatched them up. At first I listed them seperately. After a month, only one doll sold and it did not have any clothes. Next month I tried a different approach and listed them all together. During that month, I was in my local Goodwill and came across a Groovy Girl Traveler. This is a back pack for your dolls. Included were 5 Groovy Girl Dolls and a Ty Beanine Buddy. I debated whether or not to get them since my first lot was still sitting in my store. I decided to go for it. The first lot again failed to sell so I listed all my dolls together. You can find them here http://cgi.ebay.com/Groovy-Girls-Trendy-Traveler-bookbag-lot-w-12-dolls-HTF-/180665192594?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a107c1092

Best Friends Forever

Last year I went online to find my childhood friend, Barry. Barry was a brown stuffed koala bear with felt paws, brown nose and eyes but no mouth. My mom sewed on a red mouth for him. He wore a gold chain around his neck which was eventually lost. He was the first and last gift I ever got from my Uncle Stan. Barry went everywhere with me. When I had to go to the hospital for tubes, (back then it was an over night procedure) Barry was by my side. Any vacation we went on, Barry went too. When my dad accidentally threw him in the trash, I was there to rescue him. Barry was with me when my first son was born. When I moved to South Carolina, Barry was left in a storage locker. I was heartbroken. I had lost my best friend. I found one similiar on Ebay. This one is wearing a green chain and he is part white. Barry was all brown.

It just isn't the same. Did you have a best stuffed friend when you were little? Did he go everywhere with you? Did you love him as much as I loved Barry? Did he too go missing? If you could replace him, would you?

About 2 weeks back, I was in my favorite thrift store and came across a Freddy Bear from 1976. Although I never owned a Freddy, I was certain someone out there did and like my Barry, he got lost as well. And like me, that person has gone online searching from him. He is quite hard to find as I am sure most of them have been loved to death. Well I bought that teddy and put him in my ebay store. I am hoping the right buyer comes along and can be reunited with his best friend. You can find Freddy by clicking this link. http://r.ebay.com/NhmCj3

Pooky and the dog

This is our dog Garret.

This is my Pooky bear.

What happens when you leave a Pooky Bear on the floor? Garret thinks it belongs to him and decides to give it a bath. Luckily I caught him before he ate Pooky.

I found Pooky Bear at my favorite t.s. He was in a basket next to the door. I picked him up and said to Ryker "He is cute." The clerk saw me and said "You can have him for your baby for free." Cool. I wondered how much he was worth on Ebay. (Any time I find something interesting, I always think to myself how much can I get? I don't have a cell phone to check listings so I have to go by my gut.)

There are a few listed on ebay right now ranging from $9.99 to $39.00. I posted mine at BIN.

every girl needs a doll house

When I was little, I wanted a doll house for my sea wees. My parents could not afford to buy us one, so my dad decided to make one. He found directions to build a country farm house. It had 3 stories and 8 rooms plus a porch. Off to the side of a porch was another two floor addition. The front part of the house had a hinged roof so you could open it to play in the one room. The room underneath was a little harder to play in. There was no staircase but overall it was ok. The first floor had the living room and kitchen. The next floor consisted of a bedroom and bathroom. The last floor or attic was two bedrooms. It was painted white. I used some left over carpeting and made most of my furniture. My sea wees had a sweet little pad. I always wanted to keep that doll house for my own daughters but I only ended up having boys. I believe my sister still has that house but the last time I saw it, it was pretty run down. Looked like a ghetto house from the hood.

As much as I loved that doll house, I was always envious of my cousin who had a plastic house from the store. She always got new Barbies every year as well. The other day I was shopping in my favorite thrift store and came across this:

A Fisher Price Play Family House from 1969. Of course it has no furniture and some of the decals are falling off. The door bell still works though. It's not into bad of shape. I am way to old to be playing with doll houses and like I said I have no girls, so up on Ebay it went

While I was rummaging around, I found another item from my childhood. This Fisher Price Play School House. If only I had this as a child, my sea wees would not have grown up illiterate.

Again another find for my ebay store. http://cgi.ebay.com/VTG-Fisher-Price-Play-School-House-Little-People-/170648781095?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27bb75c127

Little Bo Peep Has lost her sheep

I found this warming dish a few weeks ago at my local t.s. I thought it was pretty cool looking. It dates back to 1945. These were very popular back then. What you would do is unscrew the cap at the top and add hot water. This would keep your child's food warm. It is in very good shape for its age. I am hoping the right buyer will come along and love it as much as I do. I think it would make a great decorating piece for a nursery. I have it for sale in my store. Thanks for looking

About me

Hi Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am a 30 something stay at home mom trying to make some extra money selling on Ebay. I opened my store http://stores.ebay.com/To-the-Toy-Box-and-Beyond?_rdc=1 in January of this year. I had been doing auctions since February of 2010 and thanks to the great advice of Ebay underground I decided to take the plunge. Sales were going quite well until this month. I have been dead in the water for the past two weeks with only 2 sales. Hopefully things will pick up soon.
