Thrift Store Finds

I haven't found any Pyrex lately but here are some other things I bought. The Mickey Mouse head is a lunch box. Unfortunately, the thermos with it is not original to the kit. The wooden trinket box has the Serenity prayer inscribed on it. These are all for sale including the tiki mugs.

I found a Neil the frog cookie jar at Goodwill a few weeks after purchasing one on Ebay. A few days later, I found the ceramic canisters.

I paid way to much for the elf but I had to have him. This is the first time I have seen a big one in person.

I love these Little Golden Books. They look brand new. The little jewelry box, owl, bowl and cruets are listed on Ebay.

Estate Sale Finds

I walked about a mile Friday to an estate sale. I was hoping to avoid a crowd so I got there an hour after they opened. I still had to sign in. I was number 93 and had to wait maybe 10 - 15 minutes. While I was in line, I saw a friend leaving and he was empty handed. He said all the good stuff was gone.

I managed to find 3 things: a glass door bookcase, a Cotsco step stool and a tiki vase.

Since I had walked, I had to go back with my sister to get the bookcase. We then went to another estate sale where we didn't get anything. After that, we went to the Dime and Dollar where I found a Woodland small Pyrex casserole dish.

Thrift Finds

Some things I found out thrifting.

Pyrex

Deer. I found the big one Monday and then the smaller yesterday.

Ketchup and mustard holder. Goodwill sold the bottles separate from the table. I didn't see the bottles at first and on the second look through, I saw them at the end of the aisle and went back and grabbed the table.

Addicted To Pyrex

I'm trying so hard to stop buying Pyrex but when it's half off day at the thrift store, it's pretty hard to do.

I found the Corning Ware dish, Homestead casserole and Pyrex lids at the thrift. The mixing bowls I paid full price at Goodwill.

The green is a 404 and I believe it goes to the reverse primary set. The red bowl is a 403.

The Salt To My Pepper

A few weeks back, I found a Tupperware pepper shaker at the thrift store. I looked all around and asked the manager if they had the salt. I came up empty handed.

Today, I went back to the thrift store and found the salt.

I also found Mrs Rabbit. I had bought Peter there awhile ago. I purchased the blanket and the My Banky cow at Goodwill.

This isn't Pyrex but for .99c I couldn't pass it up. It's marked Mother of the Bride. Also, found this cradle marked Corning Ware.

At Goodwill, I found these Pyrex containers and this little bowl. They had some casserole dishes but two were badly faded and the third was more than I wished to pay.

Estate Sale Find: Pyrex

Thanks to my awesome sister, who stood in 8 degree weather to sign us up for an estate sale, I was able to complete my Pyrex Primary mixing bowl set.

I found the blue bowl at the sale and the green bowl at a consignment shop.

I also bought an ice cube tray (estate sale) and found a 1 cup measuring cup at Goodwill.

Today, I took my grand to the thrift store and found a new set of dishes. It's a setting for 4 people. (Only 1 shown)

Random Stuff I found

Some things I found at the thrift store.

I had one of these night lights when I was a child. It was half off. I didn't see it there when I went on Monday but saw it on Thursday. It had to have been there at least a month to be the color of the week.

The thrift store by my house had half off on dishes. I found this strawberry cookie jar.

A cute owl

I bought these Neil the Frog off Ebay. I didn't think I would ever find them itw and the price was good.

I also bought this vintage scale on Ebay.

It's getting hard to find reasonably priced Pyrex but I did get this Spring Blossom casserole dish.

And a Linus
