Garage Sale, Estate Sale Thrift Store Finds

I haven't done a find post in quite some time. Here are some items I purchased from garage and estate sales, the thrift store and Goodwill.

I saw this clock a few months back at an estate sale but didn't buy it. It showed up later at the thrift. The chicken shakers are from Goodwill.

I recently started collecting Pyrex. I got the orange and green dots bowl at a garage sale. I also have an extra orange that I found at the consignment shop.

The pink gooseberrgooseberries were also from a garage sale. I had to make an offer on those. I hate when sellers don't price their items. You obviously know what you want so why not price it. I also bought the owls at a different sale.

I bought the 503 dish from ebay and the smaller one came from the garage sale where the dots were. I also got the yellow dish there and I found 2 strawberries at the thrift store. I'm selling one on ebay.

Owl, stool and cups from garage sale. Mug tree came from an estate sale.

I named my rooster Clarence. I'd like to get him framed and hung on the wall. Right now, he is on the counter under the cabinets.

I'm selling the glass hen candy dish on ebay. Hopefully, I can hang the rooster shelf soon. I'm not sure what the silver shelf is for but it does a great job of displaying my bowls and casseroles.

I love this utensil holder but apparently I'm not handy enough to hang it straight.

Some Finds

It's hard to find anything lately for resale. Most of what I bought this week, I'm keeping.

I paid a little too much for this 402 red primary bowl but I found the spring blossom butter dish for a steal.

My friend found me the Butterprint cinderella bowls at an estate he bought. It's missing a bowl and has a few chips but I love it.

I was going to bid on a blue Fire King relish dish on ebay, but the sniper program I used, didn't place my bid. I found out after the auction, ebay didn't recognize my password so the sniper couldn't work. I was happy to find the white one the next day at Goodwill.

I also found this cute silver cat.

Garage Sale Season

Garage sale season has finally arrived. I only went to 2 this morning but hopefully there are more to come. I didn't find much I wanted and haven't found anything for resale.

I didn't think this lid was Pyrex because it wasn't marked but the dish was. From what I gather, it's a promotional piece called Nouveau Floral.

I found these Holt salt and pepper shakers at an antique mall. I went back the next day and bought the large Fire King Tulip bowl. I wish I could find the others.

I'm almost certain there is a lady in the back room at the thrift store hoarding all the Pyrex. My friend told me about a Butterfly Gold cinderella casserole set and when I came back when she was supposed to be working, she wasn't there. I was told she was no longer going to be working there. And the Pyrex was never put out. But little Miss Hoarder missed these 3 Pyrex cups.

Some Finds

My sister found the light yellow bowl at the consignment shop.

I was excited to find these opal bowls thinking they were Pyrex. A member in a Facebook group thought they were Hazal Atlas.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this Salton warming tray.  It works but the knob falls off and the cord doesn't connect correctly.

I've been looking for a vintage Kitchen aide mixer but was happy to find this Sunbeam one.

I've never seen England Pyrex in the wild until today. Although it's newer (1980s) I like it. It's white.

And a metal colander which is actually a bad idea for draining hot items.

Thrift Store Finds

I haven't found any Pyrex lately but here are some other things I bought. The Mickey Mouse head is a lunch box. Unfortunately, the thermos with it is not original to the kit. The wooden trinket box has the Serenity prayer inscribed on it. These are all for sale including the tiki mugs.

I found a Neil the frog cookie jar at Goodwill a few weeks after purchasing one on Ebay. A few days later, I found the ceramic canisters.

I paid way to much for the elf but I had to have him. This is the first time I have seen a big one in person.

I love these Little Golden Books. They look brand new. The little jewelry box, owl, bowl and cruets are listed on Ebay.

Estate Sale Finds

I walked about a mile Friday to an estate sale. I was hoping to avoid a crowd so I got there an hour after they opened. I still had to sign in. I was number 93 and had to wait maybe 10 - 15 minutes. While I was in line, I saw a friend leaving and he was empty handed. He said all the good stuff was gone.

I managed to find 3 things: a glass door bookcase, a Cotsco step stool and a tiki vase.

Since I had walked, I had to go back with my sister to get the bookcase. We then went to another estate sale where we didn't get anything. After that, we went to the Dime and Dollar where I found a Woodland small Pyrex casserole dish.

Thrift Finds

Some things I found out thrifting.

Pyrex

Deer. I found the big one Monday and then the smaller yesterday.

Ketchup and mustard holder. Goodwill sold the bottles separate from the table. I didn't see the bottles at first and on the second look through, I saw them at the end of the aisle and went back and grabbed the table.
