If You Want Something Done...

Right You Should Do It Yourself. I sold this vintage lamp on Monday to a buyer in CA.

After bubble wrapping it, it did not fit in the box I had. I sent my DH to get me one. I gave him an approximate size and he came home with this.

Yeah A little too high.

Yeah A little too wide. Even Ryker is crying. So now Ryker has a new house and I still need a box.

  1. I use to have the same problem when I started on ebay. After a while I promised my self I would not lit a item unless I had a box. I always get the box & test run packing it & boxing it, weigh it & then list the item. And if it's a over sized odd shape item, I will sometimes include in the auction "due to the size & weight of this item, it needs to ship solo". Lets the buyer know that I would love them to make a multiple item purchase from me, but that the larger item will ship solo & I won't be trapped into offering a shipping discount.
