Thrifty Finds

We went to Goodwill last Monday and I found another Babblin Boo doll. Remember Boo from Monster's Inc? These dolls used to sell for high prices. I'm not sure they get those prices anymore but I should be able to make a few dollars on her. She is missing her teddy, pants and socks.

I also found a FurReal Friend baby parrot. I thought it was the one that is worth money but that is the bigger blue parrot. I also bought some Care Bear figurines.

I wasn't sure if the Little Einsteins Dominoes were good sellers. I decided to get them anyway. Unfortunately when I checked the prices on Ebay, they were going for less than $10 and those were the ones with a box and instructions. The cars socks and Max and Ruby book are for Ryker. All the other items are for sale in my Ebay store.

Recognize that quote? It is from the movie Monster's Inc. Monster's Inc was released in 2001. In case you have never seen the movie (do you not have children?)it centers around a city of monsters. Monsteropolis is not part of the human world but is connected to it by the closet doors in childrens bedrooms. Once a door is activated it becomes a portal between the two worlds. The monsters need the screams of children to produce their energy. One night a human child, Boo, is accidently let into the monster world. Sulley along with his friend Mike attempt to return Boo to her home.
