Some Past Finds

I haven't done a finds post in awhile, so here are a few things I have thrifted over the last few weeks.

Play Mobil Castle set. This was in the green storage tote with tape all over the top of it, so I wasn't sure what exactly I was buying. Hopefully all the pieces are there.

Kodak Easy Share paper and ink cartridge set. It is missing two of the 4 ink and 3 packs of paper but should still go for good money.

Some baby dolls. Not sure if they are worth much but they are cute.

A Blue's Clues Refrigerator I know some Blue's toys can go for a lot but Ryker has decided this is his and I haven't looked it up yet.

Some vintage leg warmers. I thought this looked cool but not sure if they are a good seller.

Child's plate set. I sold an older version of this in November for around $30 I think?

A Tickle Me Elmo TMX Special Edition that I traded some mini-cabbage patch dolls for.

Pikachu that I bought in a lot of toys from Facebook

and an owl bank that my niece found for me while we were at Goodwill.

October Sales

October was pretty slow in Ebay land. I had a total of 51 sales. Since I was moving, I was grateful for this little break but now I need things to pick up.

Since we moved into a bigger house, I have my own room for my Ebay hoard. I really need to organize it better because a lot of the time, I end up searching two bins to find something that sold. Also there are no outlets so my computer and printer are down stairs.

Auction Finds

My husband has been going to a couple of auctions with his friend Chris. He can usually get boxes of crap inventory for a buck. The downside is everything is thrown into a box with no rhyme or reason so if you want one particular thing, you end up with a box of stuff you don't want. Sometimes when there are no bidders, they keep adding boxes and you get 3 boxes for a buck. Here are some items I found that are Ebay worthy. The rest of the stuff, (vases, knick knacks, pictures) I will probably donate to Goodwill. But don't tell hubby. I honestly think he is a hoarder.

Kodak Brownie Camera needs cleaning

This last item my hubby picked up at a garage sale this summer. I finally got around to listing it. He only paid a dollar. It's funny because I had picked this up earlier and then set it back down.

It is a Kodak Instamatic X 90. It even came with a flash cube and two extra lenses. I had sold a Kodak Retina Camera to a buyer in Japan for $90 earlier this summer and I'm hoping to get a good price on this.

Better Thrifting Day

Found at my favorite thrift store yesterday:

I am keeping the two lamps. The Little Bear I am selling on Ebay. I wanted to sell the vintage camera, but my hubby wants to keep it. That's what I get for showing him my finds. I probably could have gotten between $30-$70 for it. I bought the picture frame because I liked the pictures inside. I never understood why people would donate pictures of their vacations, family, pets or homes but whatever. I can look at this picture and imagine I'm at the beach. I love the middle picture warning you of stingrays and telling you to shuffle your feet when you walk.

I believe the camera is from the late '30's to 40's It's a really cool find but I do not think it is a rare camera. The back says Retina and it was made by Kodak.
