Thrifty Finds: Table and Plate Holder

Went to the thrift store with my sister today and only walked out with two things; a plate holder and another rubber duck for Ryker. I saw a vintage kitchen table I really wanted but since Sarah has a car, I didn't buy it. I had my hubby and son go back there later in the day to get it. Of course, hubby wasn't too happy about it because "We already got a perfectly good table. Why do we need another one?" Really? Why? Because I hate the wooden table that your "friend" gave us. I did not tell him that but it is what I was thinking. I love vintage items and really wanted that table! Here is the picture of the table. Now I just need new (old) chairs to match.

It has two extra extensions (leaves?) to make it bigger if needed. Cost $15

The plate holder I am using to display one of my pictures. It is a litho drawing of a girl with flowers. The sketch is for sale in my Ebay store. When I went up to pay for the holder, Brian (a worker there) asked me what it was. I told him it was a plate holder but I was going to use it for one of my pictures. I only paid $1 for it along with the rubber duck. Ryker ran away with the duck before I could get a picture of it.
