I went to the thrift store everyday this week and didn't find much of anything. On Monday, I found a shelf for Robbie and a hop on ball for Ryker. I only found three things to sell: a toy box, playskool mailbox and a musical bunny.
Yesterday, I found a vintage train case and an apple slicer.
and today I found 4 Zodiac glass framed pictures. If they don't sell, I will keep 3 of them as I am an Aries, my husband is Scorpio and Robbie and Ryker are Sagittarius.
Not sure if I will go out again tomorrow. All these things are listed in my store on Ebay.
I didn't find a lot of stuff this week but I did get a good deal on this toy storage organizer. I'm keeping this for Ryker. We already sorted all his smalls into it.
I found this cute little guy at the thrift store along with some smalls. Not big money makers but since I have the free 25,000 listings, I might as well use them.
I found this french fryer slicer as well
Yesterday I was researching Carter's plush to see which stuffies were selling for big money. I found this giraffe at Goodwill.
I also found this cute pirate and this amazing monkey puppet.
See something you like? It's most likely for sale in my store. Check it out here.
I found this Boy Scouts Camp mess kit at the thrift store by my house. I was surprised by the price because they normally jack up anything they think may have value. They had it in the toy aisle so I guess they didn't know what it was.
I also bought ten porcelain dolls off a FB garage sale group. I haven't listed many dolls before so this will be a learning experience for me.
If you see anything you like, email me or check out my store on Ebay here.
a huge bag of Polly Pockets I've had good luck with Polly Pocket in the past and the price was right. At the check out another lady saw the bag and said "You are going to make someone very happy" and I thought yeah I will be happy if I can flip this for a good profit. She also asked me how much I paid if I didn't mind telling her. I told her the price and she said "Oh I wish I had been a little faster." Earlier, she was entering the toy aisle as I was exiting. I stopped her to tell her the bag of Fisher Price toys she was holding, was missing pieces. It was the ABC zoo and only had 18 animals. I know because I was going to buy it but put it back.
A tiki vase or mug I know nothing about tiki but one of the blogs I follow Love of the Hunt collects tiki so I thought there should be a market for it. It would be great for holding pens or pencils.
I have never seen a Care Bear full body puppet before.
This puppy by Carter's still had his tags attached. I looked on the Carter's website and it appears you can not buy him anymore. Used ones on Ebay were listed around $25 so I am hoping to get a little more than that.
A singing Tyrone from the Backyardigans He is dressed as a Mountie.
and the bunny rabbits from Guess How Much I love You. If this doesn't sell on it's own, I may add the book. I think I have it here somewhere.
My sister took me to the Goodwill in Rib Mountain yesterday and here is what I found. I got 4 shirts for Ryker. He grows so fast. I let him wear the light blue shirt today and within 90 minutes, he ruined it with red koolaid. Then the soap I used to pretreat it, left a white stain. Hopefully, when I do the laundry tomorrow it will all come out. There were also two pyrex mixing bowls a green and a yellow. The green one was bigger than the yellow one. I thought with the primary set, it was the other way around. I should have bought them.
I found a couple of owls but only bought one. It is a bookend and he was alone. I was sad I couldn't find his mate.
This puppy is a musical pull toy. I'm selling him on Ebay.
I found a bag of Little People furniture. The doll house was there too but I don't think those sell well and it would be a pain to ship.
We walked over to my favorite thrift store yesterday. I'm trying to find some outdoor toys as now Ryker really likes going outside and screams and hollers if you don't let him. Of course we have nothing for him to play with and I have to drag out some of his inside toys. I didn't find any outside toys, there were a few bikes but were in bad shape, but found some great items to resell on Ebay. Here is what I got:
Robbie is keeping the two toys on the left along with the phone. When I first saw him with the cell phone, I thought he may have taken it from a worker. Right when I was asking Brian about this, Ryker grabbed a vase off a table. I tried to grab it from him and at that moment, he threw it, breaking it into a hundred pieces. Uggghhhh. The plush animals I am selling on Ebay. Most of them are up for auction except the blue elephant.
When I first saw the elephant, I didn't think it was anything special. In fact I was going to auction it at $4.99 But before I listed it, I checked Terapeak. This is a good tool to determine what to sell your item at. I have the free version so I can only go back 14 days. One used elephant sold for $29 This elephant is from the John Lennon Collection and plays the song Imagine. I put him in my store for $32 or Best Offer.
The brown bear plays pat a cake. I added this video to the listing in the hopes that I get some bidders. I think I started the auction at $9.99
